If you are a little more independent, you can rent a car and drive around the place. On Sundays, go and enjoy the BBQ at the Croon property – it’s a great experience with an awesome garden maintained by Mrs Croon and her friends. There is an ATM in the bar too - a welcome surprise when you think you’ve gone back in time! Take a fishing trip and you’ll be amazed at the size of the Hapuka caught in 20m on rope or the Blue Cod that leap into your arms if you are lucky!
